Definition of a Line Graph:- Line graph is display the relationship between two changing variables with line or a curve that will be connecting a series of consecutive data points.
A graph that uses points connected by lines to show how something changes in value (as time goes by, or as something else happens).
I will show you how the line graph looks and how it can be created with the help of an example:-
Example problem 1:
Date 1 2 3 4 5 6
Temperature 15 20 28 35 25 20
Table shows the variation of temperature over the date.
Solution: The steps to solve line graphs online are:
- Mark data in x axis it will be 1, 2, 3, 4……….7.
- Similarly temperature date in y axis it will be start from 5, 10, 15, 20……..45.
- At the date 1 the temperature is 15 Fahrenheit mark (1, 15).
- Likewise mark the all points and join the all the points .
This is the required line graph for given data. This is a very simple example for a line graph.
