Many times I come across people asking me to help find Log, Ln, Trig values for cos, sine, tan. Many of you might be using scientific calculator or tables.
Ever tried Windows calculator a neat little application available right under Accessories.
Open the program and click on view and select Scientific.
The interface is very simple.
On the left side there are buttons used for scientific calculation
and on the right side the usual calculator buttons.

Now to find the cube root . . .
ex. : finding cube root of 27
Type in 27 in the box provided
then in the function part of the calculator, select x^y
and type 3 and click 1/x from the function part
