How to find the Stantard form of the equation of a line

Topic:- Equation of a line on standard form

The standard form of the equation of a line is
Ax + By = C where A, B, and C are real numbers and A and
B are not both zero.

Question:

Find the equation of the line in standard form containing a point P(-3,3) and slope m = -4/3

Answer:

P(3,-3) M = slope -4/3
x1 y1

P is the point and m is the slope

the slope - point formula is given by:

y - y1 = m (x - x1)

y - (-3) = -4/3 (x - 3)

3xy + 3 = -4/3 (x - 3) * 3

3(y + 3) = -4 (x + 3)

3y + 9 = -4x - 12
+4x +12 = +4x + 12
________ ________

4x + 3y + 21 = 0 is the equation
