venn diagram problems

Lets see what is venn diagram and work on some simple venn diagram problems below. I had explained you the meaning of venn diagram earlier. Go through that post of mine to understand this post.

Venn diagram is a very essential part in the concept of set theory. It shows the relation between rational relations among limited groups of sets. We can also call it as Set diagram. We can solve the set problem using venn diagram.

This is a simple example of venn diagram...

Venn diagram in Example problem

Solution:

The universal set = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8}

Set A = {2, 4, 6, 8}

Set B = {2, 3, 5, 7}

A U B = {2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7}: The union of A and B–everything that is in either A or B.

A B = {2}: The intersection of A and B–everything that is in both A and B.

Ac = {1, 3, 5, 7}: The complement of A–everything in the universe and not in A.

Bc = {1, 4, 6, 8}: The complement of B–everything in the universe and not in B.

What is arithmetic reasoning, this is what i am working on currently,
