Introduction of mathematics

My little friends, there is something which i wanted to share with you guys now. When i was in school earlier i was not aware of so many things, and i had to ask my mates for help and indeed sometimes i got help and sometimes i didn't get help from them. But now with the help of technology i want to share my knowledge which reaches you at your finger tips.


I have noticed that many of us work on mathematical problems, solve addition, subtraction, multiplication problems, division etc...but how many of us know what mathematics is. Let me give you an introduction to mathematics.



Mathematics is the study of numbers, whole numbers, it is said to be the quantity, structure, space and change.

The study of the measurement, properties and relationship of quantities and sets, using numbers and symbols. In simple words it is the study of numbers and quantities and their relationships.


Mathematicians look out for patterns, formulate new conjectures and establish truth by rigorous deduction from appropriately chosen definitions.


Applied mathematics:- The study which considers the use of abstract mathematical tools in solving concrete problems in science, business and many such areas is called Applied mathematics.
